Family Festival
Día de los Niños Celebration
Our PTA’s biggest celebration of the year! An exciting celebration of community, culture, and fun in honor of Día de los Niños! Held in the spring, this event brings students, families, and the community together for an evening filled with games, food, music, and fundraising.
Each classroom sponsors a game station, while food trucks, live festive dances, raffles, a silent auction, and a festive student parade add to the excitement. With your support and volunteer help, we bring in bounce houses, music, and special activities that make this event unforgettable. All proceeds go directly to support our school programs!
Event Overview:
When: Typically a Friday evening, but could be adjusted to a daytime event if needed
Purpose: A fundraiser for the school through ticket sales for games, food, raffles, and an online silent auction
Who’s Invited: All students, families, and community members!
Interested in helping out? We’d love to have you join the team, whether you can give a few hours or take on a larger role, every bit helps!
To make this event a success, we’re looking for dedicated volunteers.
Here’s what we’re hoping to offer with your support:
*Game & Activity Coordinators: Room parents or volunteers to help organize one game per classroom
*High School Volunteer Coordinator: Recruit and manage teen volunteers to help run stations and activities
*Food Truck & Bounce House Coordinator: Contact vendors and manage logistics
*Raffle & Silent Auction Team: Collect donations, assemble class baskets, and help run the auction
*DJ & Entertainment: Secure a DJ and help manage event flow
*Children’s Parade Coordinator: Organize and direct the student parade during the event
Why Volunteer? This event is a major fundraiser for our school and a beloved community tradition. It’s a great way to connect with other families, support our students, and have fun while doing it!
