Run Club
The PTA proudly supports the Run Club, a fun and energetic way for students and families to stay active, build endurance, and train together for the Oso Fit Community Run in the spring. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, everyone is welcome!
Program Details:
When: Begins in January and runs for several weeks on Fridays after school
Where: Held on or near campus
Why: To encourage fitness and build excitement for the Oso Fit Run
Duration: Typically runs for a couple of months, but can be extended based on interest
How It Works:
Students run laps or miles each week
Parents must stay with their children, this is not a drop-off activity
Students earn recognition for every mile completed. Last year, they received a bead for each mile (added to a keychain) and a certificate at the end of the program
To make this event a success, we’re looking for dedicated volunteers.
Here’s what we’re hoping to offer with your support:
*Adults to help record laps/miles
*Motivators to encourage kids as they run
*Helpers to distribute rewards and certificates
Whether you want to run alongside the kids, help with tracking, or just cheer them on, your support makes a big difference!
Let’s make fitness fun, one mile at a time! If you’re interested in volunteering or participating, we’d love to have you join us.
