Viejo Elementary

For the past three years, our Viejo PTA has proudly hosted Trunk or Treat! A safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration right here on campus! Families volunteer to decorate their car trunks in fun, spooky, or silly themes and hand out candy as students trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk in costume.

This beloved event includes music, food, themed games, and creative contests, making it an unforgettable night of fall fun for our entire school community. It’s a wonderful way to come together, show off your creativity, and celebrate the season with laughter and plenty of treats!

Event Highlights:

  • Family Participation: Families can sign up to host a “trunk,” donate candy or Halloween goodies. Volunteers are also needed to help with setup and cleanup.

  • Costume Fun: Students are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite non-scary costumes and bring a bag or bucket to collect candy as they trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk.

  • Contests & Prizes: Join in on the fun contests! Prizes, medals, and major bragging rights await our winners

    • Best Decorated Trunk

    • Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest

    • Pre-Carved Pumpkin Contest

    • Donut Eating Contest (students only!)

  • Food & Music: Featured food vendors and live music to create a festive atmosphere.
